God fueled John with a strong passion for excellence, service, and leadership–and he lives to serve God and others by helping executives live and lead well! After a distinguished military career, it is his honor to serve business leaders in Colorado and seek to promote excellence and a kingdom-focus in the marketplace. In 1989, John journeyed to Colorado from his native Virginia to attend the United States Air Force Academy and this began a 30-year adventure in the Air Force. John served as a command pilot, with over 3,500 hours in several aircraft, supporting military operations from humanitarian to combat around the globe. While serving at over 15 different locations in the U.S. and around the world, he completed work as a strategic planner and global operations director and served as a military commander at the squadron and wing levels. As a wing commander, he was responsible for over 3,000 personnel conducting military operations around the globe and over $6B in military assets. His final assignment brought him back to the Academy, where he served as the Vice Commandant of Cadets focusing on leadership and character development for 4,000 future officers. As a life-long student of leadership, he completed three master’s programs in management, strategy, and organizational leadership at Regent University, the National Defense University, and George Washington University, and culminated with his Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University in 2014. John is an avid distance runner who loves the mountain trails and has completed numerous 50 and 100-mile races. He is married to the amazing Stephanie Price who also attended the Academy and shared the Air Force journey with him. They have two teenage children. As the C12 Managing Chair for Southern Colorado, John serves leaders from South Denver down the I-25 corridor to Colorado Springs and Pueblo, as well as, western areas out through Summit County and Aspen.

John Wiseman is the Managing Chair for the C12 Group in Northern Colorado. John was born in Ohio but is now a dual US/Canadian citizen who has lived and worked in both countries. He has served in Executive and P&L management positions in both for-profit and non-profit companies. John’s passion is to invite business CEOs and owners into confidential peer advisory groups. He has observed how these groups can improve business practices, dispel the loneliness that often accompanies business leadership and provide a platform for discovering and practicing the higher purpose of extending the Kingdom of God.

Prior to being called to be a C12 Managing Chair in the Colorado region, John served as the President of Corpath Business Forums – an Executive Coaching firm located in Denver’s sister city – Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Just before joining Corpath, John spent a number of years leading a human resource consulting company which served the Oil & Gas, Agriculture and Education sectors. During this time, he gained experience in employee recruitment, selection and onboarding; organizational effectiveness, and team building.

John pulls upon his people practice expertise, as he guides business Executives through the C12 proprietary business forum experience. He has seen firsthand how combining an advisory group experience with one-on-one executive coaching, and committing to mutual accountability helps leaders take their business and ministry impact to the next level.

John has two children, one lives in Canada, and one lives in the USA – which, he says, is appropriate for a dual-citizen father.

“When I found C12, I knew that I was among leaders who would join me in a commitment to demonstrate that we are indeed managing God’s businesses for Him. Our fight for excellence unites us in ways that transcend the diversity of industries we represent. We apply the ideas differently in each company, but as C12 members, we are united in principles of excellence.”
