The Transformative Power of Faith, Food, and Fitness
God created us to be vessels to accomplish His purposes. In 1 Corinthians 6:19, Paul says that our bodies serve as the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, caring for our physical bodies is a way for us to honor God as our Creator. Tony Holt’s health journey began when he received his first disease diagnosis—the start of his long battle against sickness. As doctors continued to escalate his diagnosis, one of Tony’s friends challenged him to make changes, starting with his nutrition habits.
Over time, Tony learned he could nourish and even heal his body through food. Today, Tony is healthier than ever before and has made it his mission to help others experience the best health possible by stewarding their bodies well through fitness and nutrition. As leaders, we are responsible for influencing our organizations toward progress in this vital area. How will we challenge one another to use fitness and nutrition to propel our Business as a Ministry (BaaM) forward? It is never too late to make positive changes. Let us, with endurance, run the race set before us, cultivating healthy habits for holy lives.
