Dr. Stephen Cutchins is an executive coach, leadership scholar, and consultant with more than 25 years of executive and pastoral leadership experience. He helps Christian business owners integrate practical strategy with biblical wisdom, strengthen organizations, and lead with stewardship. He brings to C12 a deep commitment to its mission: Great Businesses. Greater Purpose.

In 2023, Stephen founded TCI Solutions. He later handed off the CEO role and became executive chair. TCI has since grown into a seven-figure coaching and consulting firm. He has advised leaders of multimillion-dollar organizations nationwide, including award-winning authors, Forbes-recognized entrepreneurs, pastors, and senior executives in healthcare and national security. His work centers on leadership development, organizational strategy, and team alignment.

Stephen previously led a multimillion-dollar nonprofit encompassing a 3,000-member congregation, more than 90 staff members, and an award-winning weekday education program. Under his leadership, the program became South Carolina’s largest weekday education program, serving hundreds of families. He also led an effort to eliminate millions in debt, leaving the ministry debt-free for the first time in decades.

In 2026, Stephen joined Anderson University’s doctoral faculty for Leadership & AI. Anderson is a Christian institution and South Carolina’s largest and No. 1-ranked private university. He has also served as an executive director at Southern Evangelical Seminary, where he previously served as a trustee. He has served on the South Carolina Baptist Convention’s Executive Board and coached pastors through the North American Mission Board. His pastoral leadership includes service as a teaching pastor at Upstate Church, which ranked No. 9 among America’s fastest-growing churches and was the fastest-growing Southern Baptist church in the 2024 Outreach 100.

Stephen holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Dallas Baptist University and a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary. His doctoral research explored adaptive leadership, and he has completed executive education through Harvard Online in adaptive leadership and healthcare leadership.

He is an ICF-credentialed coach, published author, and speaker. Stephen felt called to serve as a C12 Chair because the role brings together his experience in business, his passion for developing people, and his conviction that business can be a setting for lasting Kingdom impact. With a leader’s mind and a pastor’s heart, he helps owners connect faith with daily decisions through thoughtful questions, honest encouragement, and accountability.

Stephen serves as C12 Chair in Augusta, Georgia, where he lives with his wife, Wendy, and their daughters, Madi and Sarah.
