Ben Phillips comes from a background of years of organizational development and ministry. He is marked by relentless loyalty and perpetual love of learning. Ben excels at critically analyzing systems and relationships to improve efficiency and authenticity. Ben is passionate about helping leaders discover their driving values and unafraid to ask clarifying questions. He enjoys generating and applying creative solutions that can be implemented with unwavering integrity to organizational goals. Ben is eager to disciple leaders in the way of Jesus and firmly adheres to the notion that all truth is God’s truth.

Ben loves how C12 courageously champions both the necessity and utility of Biblical wisdom in directional leadership as well as in daily operation. Ben’s undergraduate study was in Christian Education, and he earned his graduate degree in Theology.

Ben has put those skills to work throughout his career. First, in the business world where he worked in compliance and operations management, then as a pastor at a series of churches that led him from positions focused on students and families to operations and growth within a large multi-site organization. In his pastoral roles, Ben developed strategy, managed people and budgets, and inspired those around him as he led the church to 2,000+ attendees in three years. His impact in the Jacksonville area sparked a multi-million dollar building expansion project, and activated a strategy to launch additional campuses in the area.

Ben credits his success to a very special collaboration in his life, the one with his wife Anika, who is a practicing Certified Nurse-Midwife and an adjunct nursing professor and their four children, two school-age sons and two preschool-age daughters. Ben and Anika enjoy food and hospitality, hiking and camping, and coffee. In his spare time, you can find Ben cheering for the Vikings, serving in AWANA games, hunting or learning about hunting, and fishing with his sons.
