Carlos Merino serves as Principal Chair with C12 Business Forums in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. C12 is the world’s largest peer-learning organization for Christian CEOs, business owners, and executives, serving
over 4,000 members throughout the United States and Internationally. Carlos began serving as a C12 Chair in 2026 and is currently establishing and growing multiple CEO and Key Player forums across the region, with a
vision to impact business leaders and organizations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Prior to joining C12, Carlos served as Founder and Principal of Tentmaker Holdings Inc., Tentmaker Developments Inc., and Tentmaker Trading LLC (USA), organizations focused on real estate investment,
development, and international trade. He has led multi-million-dollar projects, built and managed a portfolio of approximately 40 residential units, and facilitated over $1 billion in real estate transactions. Carlos has also
structured and led joint ventures across North and South America, helping businesses successfully expand into new markets.
Carlos’ background spans international trade, manufacturing partnerships, and entrepreneurial ventures across industries including construction, real estate, and import/export. Throughout his career, he has been a sought-
after coach and mentor in the areas of entrepreneurship, market entry strategy, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and business growth in North America.
In addition to his business leadership, Carlos, together with his wife Sonia, has led marriage conferences for over 30 years across North America, Latin America, and Europe, investing in the strength of families based on
Christian values. They are also actively involved at Capstone Community Bible Church in Toronto, serving in the welcome team, children’s ministry, and youth coaching.
Carlos lives in Etobicoke, Ontario with his wife Sonia. They have three married adult children and are blessed with five grandchildren. As a family, they are committed to building a legacy of faith, service, and
entrepreneurship for future generations.
