Dan brings over 35 years of professional experience in entrepreneurship, executive leadership, and project management. His tenure in companies such as GE, Harris, and DRS Technologies spans the defense, communications, robotics, energy management, and law enforcement industries. Based on his God-given passions for business and for serving Jesus, Dan is committed to encourage and equip business owners and CEOs to achieve excellence while viewing themselves as stewards of God’s businesses. As a C12 Chair, these two passions combine to help others “Build Great Businesses for a Greater Purpose.” Dan co-founded a software development company in 2005 which was sold to a strategic buyer in 2012. As CEO, he purposed to run the company by Biblical principles and to honor God. He and his business partner authored core operating principles based on passages in Proverbs which guided strategic and day-to-day operations. Without any knowledge of a Christian-based roundtable to challenge them and hold them accountable, they had to “go it alone.” God was faithful and proved Himself to be sufficient, but Dan believes that involvement in a C12 group would have helped tremendously during their startup struggles. Dan enjoys teaching and encouraging others to trust God in all areas of their lives. Since Dan’s salvation while in college, he has actively led small-group Bible studies and prayer groups. He enjoys seeking out God’s truth and life application from Scripture. Dan and his wife, Cathy, have enjoyed over 35 years together on Florida’s east coast. They have four grown children and several grandchildren.
