JAMES YU
James Yu serves as Forum Chair with C12 Business Forums in Taipei, Taiwan. C12 is the world’s largest peer-learning organization for Christian CEOs, business owners, and executives, serving over 4,000 members throughout the United States and internationally. James has been serving as a C12 Chair since 2024 and currently serves 12 members in one CEO Forum and one Key Player Forum. Collectively, members in James’s forums generate over NT$600 Million (approximately US$20 million) in annual revenue and employ more than 250 people across Taiwan and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining C12, James served as Executive Director of Protos Bridging International, an organization dedicated to developing cross-cultural leadership and marketplace missions initiatives in Asia. He was responsible for strategic partnerships, organizational development, and leadership formation. Under his leadership, the organization launched multiple leadership programs across universities, churches, and business networks in Taiwan and North America.
James is a serial entrepreneur, having founded and led multiple ventures spanning PC, networking, systems integration, telecommunications, and electrical construction. By age 36, he successfully built an electrical contracting company with over 140 employees, achieving annual revenues exceeding US$14 million. His business and consulting experience extends across industries including software development, destination services, and international trade.
Throughout his career, James has also served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Senior Vice President in various organizations, gaining extensive experience in organizational transformation, business development, and leadership strategy. He is a sought-after coach and mentor to Christian business leaders in the areas of leadership development, governance, and spiritual formation.
Currently, James is leading a new marketplace ministry initiative called the Marketplace Apostolic Center (MAC) — a church-planting movement among businesses and business leaders, designed to integrate faith, leadership, and enterprise for kingdom impact across cities.
James lives in Taipei with his wife Helen. They have three adult children and two grandchildren.
