John Scaggs serves as a Chair with C12 Business Forums in Colorado Springs and El Paso County, investing in CEOs who want to build businesses marked by excellence, integrity, and eternal significance. John is actively establishing multiple forums across the greater Colorado Springs region, with two established forums already serving companies generating more than $100 million in annual revenue.

Before becoming a Chair, John spent over six years as a C12 member, where he experienced firsthand the rigor and accountability required to lead well at scale. Today, he serves as a mission-anchored consensus builder and thoughtful, decisive strategist, helping leaders make consequential decisions with clarity and conviction.

He brings uncommon curiosity to executive leadership. Whether advising privately or moderating a forum, John asks disciplined, penetrating questions that expose blind spots, unlock perspective, and move leaders from uncertainty to decisive action. He is committed to helping CEOs lead from clarity, courage, and freedom rather than pressure or reaction.

John’s four-decade executive career spans technology, revenue architecture, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, media, and manufacturing. As President & Chief Operating Officer of Subsentio, a global telecommunications compliance firm operating at the intersection of major carriers and federal agencies, he led profitability, strategic repositioning, and a successful equity transition within a complex regulatory environment. John has also served as a fractional Chief Revenue Officer, advising founders and executive teams navigating growth, transition, and strategic inflection points.

He has led mergers and acquisitions, negotiated high-stakes contracts, built scalable sales organizations, and implemented disciplined operating systems across domestic and international markets. His leadership is marked by composure under pressure, operational precision, and alignment around mission.

A U.S. Air Force veteran aircrew member, John completed advanced leadership development and operational training that shaped his conviction, resilience, and disciplined execution. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Abilene Christian University and is a certified ISO 9000 auditor.

John and his wife of more than 40 years reside in Colorado Springs and enjoy time with their four adult offspring and growing number of grandchildren.
