Jon Miller’s life has been a journey of dedication and passion, culminating in his work with the C12 organization. Throughout his career, Jon has been driven by a desire to empower business professionals to excel in both their careers and their spiritual callings. His diverse experiences as a successful small business owner, senior pastor, and international missionary have all been stepping stones that have prepared him for his current role as a C12 Chair with the Greater Triangle C12 Organization.
A proud graduate of the University of Kentucky, Jon also holds a Masters of Theological Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Over the past 30 years, he has been a steadfast presence and active contributor to the Triangle area.
Jon’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch a Junkluggers franchise, which was recognized as the Best Overall Junk Removal Company by U.S. News and World Report in 2024. As an early franchise owner, Jon played a pivotal role in expanding the company from just 12 franchises to over 100 nationwide. His leadership was marked by a commitment to customer satisfaction, environmental stewardship, and community collaboration, which helped his franchise lead the nation in Net Promoter Scores. Jon eventually sold the business in 2024 and remains well-versed in the challenges and rewards of growing a successful business.
In addition to his business achievements, Jon has a rich history in ministry, including 20 years of hands-on experience. He spent a decade with CRU (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ), where he invested deeply in mentoring students both in North Carolina and in Eastern Europe. His leadership as a regional director for CRU’s Mid-South Region further solidified his impact in ministry. Jon also served as a pastor for 10 years, where he successfully led a church start-up, transitioned a traditional church into a modern evangelical community, and launched an expansion campus for the mega-church Hope Community Church.
Across all these roles, Jon has consistently demonstrated a passion for coming alongside leaders to support their growth—personally, spiritually, and professionally. This is where Jon’s true gifting lies.
Jon’s greatest achievements include being married for 29 years and raising three amazing children, Brooks, Brianna, and Blair. He and his wife April, a professional Christian therapist, have just successfully launched a daughter to college and are looking forward to navigating the next season of life as it unfolds.
Jon views his work with C12, where he helps Christian CEOs and business owners maximize their impact in the marketplace, as one of the greatest privileges of his life. He regularly thanks God for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.
