John Davenport
John Davenport Jr. is a native of Winston-Salem, NC and graduate of both NC A&T State University and NC State. He has both a BS and MS in Civil Engineering. John owns Davenport Engineering, Inc., a Winston-Salem based engineering firm with 13 offices across the Southeast and approximately 75 employees. Along with his professional career, John is heavily involved in the community. He is currently Vice Chairman of Forsyth County Board of Health and a member of Forsyth Tech Board of Trustees. He also served on WSFCS School Board from 2011-2014 and has supported a local high school intern program since 2008. John is also involved in ministry. He is Chairman of Love Out Loud Ministry and Board Member for Eureka Ministry, Inc. His outreach efforts include: funding the construction of a high school in Haiti, a dormitory for an orphanage in Uganda and a K-12 school in India.
