CHRIS SEEGER
Territory Served
Chris Seeger serves as a C12 Chair with C12 Business Forums in the greater St. Louis region. C12 is a peer-learning organization for Christian CEOs, business owners, and executives, bringing together faith-driven, results-minded leaders who desire to build great businesses for a greater purpose.
Chris brings more than four decades of hands-on business and leadership experience to his role with C12. His career began in his family’s service business, Chesterfield Service, which his father founded in 1976. Chris began riding along on service calls as a boy and joined the company full-time in 1985. Over the years, he served as a technician, installer, salesperson, sales manager, and eventually co-owner.
Chris and his brother purchased the company in 2009 during the aftermath of the Great Recession. What followed became one of the defining chapters of Chris’s business journey. After reducing the company to roughly a dozen employees during a difficult period, they rebuilt it into a thriving organization of approximately 75–80 team members, expanding its services and developing a strong leadership team and culture. Chris eventually sold the business and retired from day-to-day ownership in 2026.
C12 played an important role in that journey. Chris was a founding member of the C12 group in St. Louis and spent more than 15 years experiencing firsthand the value of trusted peers, accountability, coaching, and applying biblical principles to the realities of running a business.
That experience ultimately led Chris back to C12—this time as a Chair.
Chris has a particular heart for business owners who carry the weight of their companies on their shoulders while trying to faithfully serve their employees, families, and God. That calling is deeply personal. Chris watched his own father work long hours building a business, only to see the demands of the business eventually take a heavy toll on his marriage, health, and finances. Today, Chris wants to help other Christian business owners build businesses that flourish without sacrificing the things that matter most—and ultimately finish well.
Chris and his wife have been married for more than 35 years and enjoy their family and grandchildren. A lifelong learner, Chris is passionate about leadership, business, faith, mentoring others, and, when he gets the chance, anything involving motors and wheels.
His approach to leadership is grounded in a simple conviction: business can be both an extraordinary enterprise and an extraordinary ministry when its owner understands that he or she is a steward of what God has entrusted to them.
