ROGER NORBERG

Roger spent 31 years in progressively more responsible managerial positions with General Motors before retiring as a Purchasing Director in 2003 to pursue a family business opportunity.  He worked in several operations and headquarters in roles as a change agent, implementing Lean Manufacturing Techniques in the Materials Management arena, with extensive experience in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, and Lean Material Systems (Toyota Production System). Roger’s personal style is reflective, insightful, orderly, flexible and friendly.  He has strong skills in visioning, leadership, team building, listening, and innovation.  He has both line and staff management experience in materials management, manufacturing operations, and purchasing.  Roger trained many people in a wide variety of lean material flow techniques.  He has a reputation for establishing understanding, facilitating issue resolution across functions, reducing costs by eliminating waste and improving customer satisfaction. He joined C12 in 2005 to share his lifelong love for Jesus, his professional and spiritual experience, and to exercise his consulting, coaching and facilitating skills with Christian Business Owners and CEO’s who want to pursue business God’s way.  Roger enjoys teaching Bible and Stewardship classes at his home church, facilitating church board meetings and assisting his pastor in equipping the saints for ministry. Roger earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Administration from GMI (Kettering University) and his MBA from Wayne State University. Roger recently said, “I thought C12 sounded like a good idea in 2005 when I began to explore the possibility of leading the Detroit franchise.   Now after being involved for some time, I find that it is better than I thought and gets better every month.” Roger and his wife Cheryl reside in Waterford, Michigan.  They have five children in four states.  They raised three daughters who all graduated from Christian Colleges and serve the Lord in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Colorado. Their two sons serve the Lord in their church as they make their way into young adulthood.  One in the Army Reserves and College the other in the family business.

TOM RIVERS

Prior to joining C12, Tom Rivers served as Vice President Global Marketing, Automotive at HARMAN International a Samsung Company, where he leveraged 35 years of experience in defining, developing, executing, and steering domestic and global marketing initiatives. He has a passion for innovation and customer-centricity, and lead with a vision to transform the automotive industry with connected car and cloud services solutions. He led the global consolidation of marketing organizations to One Global Team, inclusive of Car Audio, Connected Services, and Connected Car Technologies. He also led the sales enablement process to link product roadmap that maps to harmonized marketing/coms plan. Tom’s background also includes experience in marketing, sales management, product strategy and account management at Ford Motor Company, IAG Research and The Nielsen Company. Throughout Tom’s career, he has been a sought-after coach and mentor for programs at each of the companies he worked at. Additionally, Tom actively served on the board of Oak Pointe Church (Novi Michigan) as an Elder for 7 years and Senior Pastor Succession Planning Committee. He also serves as Strategic Advisor for Ayaka Hope a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to providing quality educational opportunities for children in South Sudan. Tom lives in Northville Michigan with his wife Kathleen of 28 years. They have 2 children, Courtney and Trent. Tom’s life verse is, Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Roberta Cocco is a dynamic public speaker, executive coach and trainer, known for igniting self-discovery, turning insights into action and connecting strategic thinking to practical execution. With almost two decades of experience, she is a leader and a change-maker who uses her skill, humor and fierce determination to unlock potential, create clarity, and disrupt the stories that hold people back. As an Associate Chair with C12 Business Forums in North Suburban Detroit, Roberta is committed to Oakland County’s business leaders. She is committed to following Christ and passionate about making disciples who make disciples using Business as a Ministry (BaaM). Roberta is excited to unlock potential and inspire bold action with the faith that expects God to do more than we can imagine. Trained in phenomenology, ontological studies, and transformational coaching, Roberta is uniquely equipped to adapt in fast-changing environments, think through solutions and identify obstacles. Her leadership experience spans half-millions-dollar ventures to billion-dollar corporations, non-profits, and government sectors, where she has coached C-suite executives, founders, and directors across a wide range of industries. Before joining C12, Roberta had been called to full-time ministry as a Video Director, leading international teams to Africa, Haiti and Ecuador. She collaborated with local non-profits like LifeRemodeled and spearheaded large-scale movements like E.A.C.H., to raise awareness, mobilize support and build powerful messaging that united people in the hope and power of Christ. Many scriptures have been anchored in her life, but her favorite is found in Isaiah 41:13 “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Roberta’s journey is filled with adventure, shared with her husband Brad Cocco and their combined six-adult children. Additionally, she created the proven course, Bridge the Gap to build powerful culture, connection and stability during COVID. She has been nominated for the Woman of Influence award by SUCCESS Magazine, featured in Voyage magazine, recognized by Who’s Who in America, and has appeared on podcasts, Fox News and mentioned in the Wall Street Journal.
