KIRT BOUDREAU

Naturally gifted, Kirt has embraced leadership roles in all aspects of his life from his teenage years in sports and school to his business experience working for himself and others and in ministry. He has been given opportunities to lead by his peers, his friends, and those whom he has followed. With an entrepreneurial mindset, Kirt is not satisfied blazing trails alone, but finds joy when he is able to inspire others to follow and then equip them to lead. Understanding leadership from a biblical perspective, Kirt knows that serving is fundamental to leading and enjoys serving others within his leadership roles. As a young business owner, Kirt learned the benefits of hard work and dedication, working alongside his friends through high school and college. When his business partner continued into graduate school, Kirt took the reins of the business and grew it to a team of 6 before putting his engineering degree to work after selling the 9-year-old business. It was during these years that he learned the importance of hiring the right employees and the fundamentals of insurance, payroll, business development, account management, and billing. As an aspiring engineer, Kirt learned the ins and outs of the rotating equipment that he quoted and sold before moving into an outside sales role. This was where his problem-solving skills were put to use for others as he grew a struggling sales territory into one of the leading territories in the company. He was promoted to Regional Manager and began to lead a small team of 2, learning and growing in this role as he developed others to fill roles while he continued to grow the region supported by a team of 8. With a decade of sales and management experience, Kirt followed his proactive business passions to a Regional Sales Manager role for an equipment manufacturer and gained more experience in new business development and value-based sales. It was during these years that Kirt learned the value of healthy business culture. After serving as a deacon for 3 years, Kirt was selected by his peers to lead the group of 12 deacons for 2 years. It was in this role that his shepherding gifts blossomed and his passion for equipping others for ministry was noticed by the elders of his church. After leading their church marriage ministry for 2 years, Kirt and his wife Wendy launched a marriage mentoring ministry, personally inviting dozens of couples to be trained to serve with them as marriage mentors. Seeing that God was using his spiritual gifts within the church, the elders invited Kirt to join them in leadership. Leading and serving with this group of 9 men has been one of the most life-giving roles he has participated in. While these roles of leadership are most visible to others, the one that is most important to him is the head of his family as husband and father. Kirt leads his family of 5, striving to grow his children up into faithful followers of Christ, serving with his wife Wendy as examples for their kids to see daily. His ability to lead others is only possible because of the encouragement he receives from Wendy, Hunter, Annelyse, and Charlie. When Kirt finds downtime in his schedule, he enjoys hunting, fishing, working with his mini-excavator, reading and studying scripture, and cooking. Wendy is his best friend, closest confidant, and strongest encourager.

“C12 is everything I was looking for and more of what I didn’t know I needed. My peers challenge me in my blind spots, love me in hard times, and encourage me to glorify God in the way I lead my team. It’s a home for business leaders.”
