DAVID BEASLEY

David Beasley (Dave) recently retired from an almost 40 year career with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. During this career Dave has held a variety of positions in sales, marketing, general management, and operations. In December of 2017, he was appointed as Vice President, North America Commercial Tires. In this position, Dave was responsible in leading the commercial truck tire business in finding superior mobility solutions for the trucking industry through manufacturing, supply chain, technology, sales & marketing as well as retreading and a chain of over 250 company-owned truck tire service locations. Dave held a similar position in the Asia Pacific region where he led Goodyear’s introduction into China’s truck tire market. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Dave also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Akron. He has served on the Board of Trustees for The Chapel and The Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition. Currently, he serves on the Chairman of the Board of Love Akron, a Christian-based organization that is an intersectional hub working to unify the colors, cultures, and congregations to see Greater Akron thrive.   Dave is married to his wife, Carmen, and they have four married adult children and two precious granddaughters.
