TOM MUNSON

Tom began his role as Chairman of C12 Orange County in 2015, after 30 years of business experience covering many industries including banking, aerospace, automotive, and optics. Tom has served in various management and executive roles in sales, marketing, customer service, research, and contract negotiation/administration. Just prior to C12, Tom was a part of the C-Suite team at Trijicon, a family-owned and faith-based optics manufacturer. During his nine-year tenure as VP of Sales and Marketing, Trijicon experienced sustained double and triple-digit growth. Tom is quick to point out that he was just a small part of a great team that executed a well-defined strategic growth plan. Tom came to a saving faith in Jesus as a Southern California teenager and has been serving Him since as a Bible teacher and speaker. Business Administration and Theology degrees, along with his business experience, have uniquely prepared him for his role as a C12 Chair. Current C12 Advisory Boards members most appreciate Tom’s relatable manner, as well as his way of framing a discussion and asking insightful questions to get to the heart of the matter. They also appreciate the way Tom and C12 are able to weave great business topics and authentic faith-filled living in a leadership context. Tom and his wife, Sandra, have three grown children, three grandchildren, and reside in Mission Viejo. Tom serves as an elder at Christ Community Church of Laguna Hills.
