Zhenya’s journey as a sports missionary commenced in 1999 in Ukraine, at a time when the integration of sports into church outreach was uncommon. Over fourteen years, he dedicated himself to cultivating a sports ministry within Ukrainian churches, orchestrating trainings, seminars, and impactful missions. His transformative experience at the International Sport Leadership School in South Africa in 2005 reshaped his approach, propelling him to foster collaborations between sports ministry organizations and deliver leadership programs for youth and sports ministers. Transitioning to the realm of professional sports in 2015, Zhenya assumed the role of co-founder and CEO of a professional soccer club in his city. This venture not only enriched his understanding of sports but also honed his leadership and business acumen. Inspired by the words of Abraham Kuyper, who proclaimed the sovereignty of Christ over every facet of life, Zhenya is fervently committed to empowering Christian business owners and CEOs to infuse Christ-centered values into the Ukrainian business landscape. Alongside his wife Alona, who passionately promotes women’s physical and mental well-being through her leadership in women’s fitness, Zhenya is a devoted parent to Alister and Amira.
